Isabel Bitman is an American interdisciplinary artist based in New York City. Her mediums include painting, sculpture using traditional craft techniques like tapestry and upholstery, music, and digital formats. Drawing from conceptual and minimalist art, she is interested in notions of structure, and how these abstractions interact with and contradict the daily experience of human life, questioning "life in the floating glass box".
